2. Consent Agenda - these items are considered routine by the Planning and Zoning Commission and will be enacted by one motion. Planning Exception PE18-07: Proposed Abandonment and Permanent Closure of a Pedestrian Access Easement - A request for approval of an exception from Subdivision Ordinance Section 110-59(d) which stipulates that pedestrian easements may be required where deemed necessary by the Planning and Zoning Commission or staff to provide pedestrian circulation within the subdivision or access to schools, shopping centers, recreation, transportation, or other community facilities, specifically, to allow the abandonment and permanent closure of such an easement that is 20 feet in width and was dedicated in 1997 and extends between Pleasant Rose Circle in Austin’s Colony Subdivision and Pixley Lane in Pecan Ridge Subdivision, for a distance of approximately 123 feet across Lots 12 and 13 in Block 1 of Austin’s Colony Subdivision – Phase 3, in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas.
