A. Residential Neighborhood Conservation District Eligibility - Public Hearing, presentation, and first and only reading of an ordinance to amend the text of Bryan Code of Ordinances Chapter 130, Zoning, specifically to expand eligibility to petition for City initiated rezoning to Residential – Neighborhood Conservation District (R-NC) zoning; adding eligibility of properties zoned South College – Residential District (SC-R) and Historic Preservation Overlay District (HP), and extending the period for which signatures affixed to a petition shall be counted to 270 days.
A. Consider rejection of the previous awarded price agreement and approve the basketball pavilion painting agreement to the next low bidder, JNA Painting & Contracting Co., Inc., in an amount not to exceed $95,668.00.
B. Consideration of a proposed four (4) month lease between the City of Bryan and Infinity Sports Entertainment, L.L.C., for the lease of the approximately 1,783 square feet of specific space on the Second Floor of the former Bryan U.S. Army Reserve Center, now owned by the City of Bryan, located at 511 Carson Street, in the total amount of $3,300.00.
C. Consideration of a Participation Agreement with the Atmos Cities Steering Committee (ACSC).
D. Consideration of the purchase of 95-gallon residential solid waste containers from Otto Environmental Systems North America, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $87,870.00.
A. Engineering Services Contract for the Still Creek Culvert Replacements Project, City Project Number 425-D1-1805, to Mitchell and Morgan, L.L.P., in an amount not to exceed $179,665.00
B. Engineering Services Contract for the Melba Circle Drainage Improvements Project, City Project Number 425-D1-1804, to Strand Associates, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $110,300.00
C. Adoption of a resolution of the City Council of the City of Bryan, Texas, to authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute documents necessary for the submission of an application to the Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG) for Office of the Governor Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) funds in the amount of $25,784.20 on behalf of the City; authorizing the City Manager or his designee as the representative to accept or affirm any grant award that may result therefrom; and to act on the City's behalf with respect to any issues that may arise during processing of said applications.
D. Adoption of a resolution of the City Council of the City of Bryan, Texas, authorizing the City of Bryan to open a trust account with Branch Banking and Trust; authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary for the opening and management of the trust account, subject to approval of the City Attorney, and to perform all other acts as necessary to accomplish the intent of the resolution.
E. First and only reading of an ordinance of the City of Bryan, Texas, adopting local standards of care for the City of Bryan Parks and Recreation Department's elementary age (5 years to 13 years) youth recreation programs.
